BLENDER.

The desktop companion runs Blender on your computer and returns a real render to your chat. No Blender API fee. AI generation still uses your weekly tokens.

1. Open the desktop companion

Download the Windows preview

Use the DevexDefiant Windows preview app. Install Blender 4.2 or newer, then choose blender.exe in the app’s Local Blender panel.

Copy your plugin token from the dashboard, paste it into the desktop app, and click Start Blender helper. The app keeps the token in memory.

Blender is a separate installation. Keep the desktop app running while a model renders.

2. Request a Blender model

In AI builder, choose Blender · local helper. Ask for a small model, such as “a blue robot with a spherical head.”

Review the base geometry, then click Render with my local Blender. The helper builds rounded geometry and sends a render back here.

Detailed requests may use more tokens. The current builder uses up to 12 primitive parts; it does not sculpt arbitrary meshes or create rigs.

3. Approve the finished render

The finished Blender render appears in the preview card. If you want changes, send a follow-up describing them and render the new proposal.

When you approve, download the GLB. In Roblox Studio, use the 3D Importer to import it and review the scale, materials, and placement before saving.

Mesh import currently needs this manual step. The Studio plugin’s direct approval button applies Standard part models.

4. Check your connections

The Blender helper and Studio plugin are separate connections. The helper does not open a public port and never executes AI-generated Python.

If it says 401, paste your token again. For 402, check subscription access. For render failures, verify your Blender path and ask for a smaller model.
